Lots of Updates!

Boy, its been a long time! Mommy has been really busy- we all have! She had my baby brother Lars on March 18. He doesn't look much like me. He has dark hair and looks like our Grandpa B.G..



Pretty cute huh? Just like his big bro. It must run in the family...

Mommy has been very sad lately. Its because I am still not talking. My hearing was tested and Mommy and Papa learned that I hear just fine. I am going to a children's hospital so a doctor can look at my brain with a special machine, but Mommy and Papa already know that I have something called an Autism Spectrum Disorder. This means I might have a harder time than other kids, and that makes Mommy sad, because she loves me very much and doesn't want me to ever have a hard time or feel different.

I am going to go to speech therapy to learn to talk, and Mommy is already looking at special toys to help me learn. Some of them look like lots of fun! All my Mommy and Papa want for me is to live a normal life and be happy, and they told me they will do whatever they can to make sure that happens. They are doing lots of research and trying to do things with me that I like, like go to the park and play on the swings.

When Mommy gets more time she is going to start a brand new blog for Lars and me to share! Stay tuned...

Holidays are Awesome!

This year the holidays were extra cool. Mommy convinced Papa that even though we're Jewish I should have a Christmas tree and we should all have stockings. So Mommy's friend Rachel made us some stockings and Auntie Em cut down a small tree from her parents farm and gave it to me! Mommy decorated it with pretty ornaments too.




Hanukkah was cool but we didn't eat any latkes this year, and that was a bummer! I love potatoes!

Christmas Eve we went to Grandma A's house, and Christmas Day we went to Grammy and B.G.'s house. I got tons of presents and ate so much good food! Yum! I also played with my aunties, Andrea and Rayne. Here is me with Andrea (my hair is long because Mommy and Papa decided not to cut it til my little brother is born):



My favorite present is my MagnaDoodle and I color on it all the time. I also got a cargo truck from Grandma A that holds THIRTY-TWO Matchbox cars. Grandma A must really love me.

P.S. Look how fat Mommy is! My little brother is growing in her tummy. His name is going to be Lars.

Veggies are the Devil.

I decided I hate all vegetables. In fact, I hate them so much that Mommy and Papa can't get me to eat them even if they are covered in cheese or hidden in another food. They can't outsmart ME!
The only things I have decided I ever want to eat are chicken nuggets, cheesy things, crackers and sweet stuff.
Mommy is crazy too- she drinks this stuff called Kool-Aid that I am not allowed to have. She says that just because something is MADE for kids doesn't mean its GOOD for kids. She says big words like "nutritional value," and then gets on my case about how I hate corn! So while other kids get sugary cereal and soda, I have to eat whole wheat cereal bars and toast! Lame! Mommy is such a square. Papa turned me on to McDonalds and he even convinced Mommy to let us go there once every two weeks. Boy, is Papa cool!

Little Brother!

Yesterday, Mommy, Papa and I all found out that I am gonna be a big brother to a little boy baby! That is gonna be so awesome, 'cause girls are smelly.

When we showed up to the doctor, Mommy got really mad because they mixed up her appointment. She thought she wasn't gonna get to find out what our baby was! I played with Papa and practiced walking up and down the stairs until the doctor was ready to see Mommy.

I was a really good boy during the ultrasound, even though I was tired and wanted lunch. To keep myself occupied, I ripped the paper off the bed Mommy was laying on and ripped it up all over the place. It was cool! There was a TV in there too, and Papa kept saying, "Look buddy! Its your little brother!" but all I saw was a white blob on a black screen. I wanted Spongebob!

The whole ride back, Mommy and Papa kept saying I was gonna get a special "Big Brother Meal." We went to McDonalds just to get me a Happy Meal! Oops, I mean, a Big Brother Meal. I am big and I usually eat all my food, but I suppose when my little brother comes I will share my fries with him.

Mama and Papa Got Married!

On Halloween, mama and papa got married! It was cool. During the ceremony I ran all over the place and tried to play the piano in the chapel! Everyone laughed and said how adorable I was, so my mission was accomplished.

Afterwards I took a nap at home, cause I was SO exhausted from being handsome all day. When I woke up we went to a cool restaurant that was all spooky on the inside, and all mama and papa's friends were there. We ate food and wore costumes (I was a lil' devil), and I got attention from lots of pretty ladies and cool dudes! I was SOOO tired afterwards, but it sure was fun!

Mama and her friend Emily (Auntie Em) made Mama's wedding dress! It has pink and red hot rod flames on the bottom.




Helloooo, Anna! She is Mama and Papa's pal and played the music at their wedding. She can babysit me anytime she wants! Meow!

Baby Bear News

Mama is very busy lately. So is Papa! He has two jobs and Mama is busy finishing up the wedding plans. Mama is also getting fat, but just in her tummy. She keeps rubbing it and telling me there's a baby in there, but I can't see one. Just a belly button!

I have taken a shine to ripping my diapee off at night and taking a whiz all over my crib! Its FUN! My new diapers have strips that tell me when I went potty in them and I DON'T like being wet, so I just step out of them or rip them off. Being nakey is awesome! Wearing diapees is stupid and I don't wanna do it anymore! I want to sit on the toilet like a big boy but I am still not talking so I can't tell Mama or Papa when I need to go potty. Sometimes I just want to go into the bathroom to pull all the tooth brushes out of the holder, or see what I can get into, so Mama and Papa don't let me go in there much.

Speaking of not talking, Mama is taking me to the doctor to see why I won't talk. My parents don't know if I might have a hearing problem, or if something else is wrong. All the other stuff I do is right on track though! I learned how to turn the light on and off, and I like stacking things up, especially shampoo bottles in the tub. I love to snuggle again and am learning that when Papa leaves, he eventually is going to come back.
